Connie Belanger

Wallagrass--- Connie Belanger, 87, peacefully entered into Eternal Life on March 11, 2026, at a Frenchville healthcare facility. She was born February 24, 1939, in Wallagrass, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Bertha (Ouellette) Pinette.

Connie was a devoted wife and mother and took great pride in providing a wonderful home for her husband and children. She enjoyed cooking and no one left her kitchen with an empty stomach. She was exceptionally proud to earn the title “Memere” as her family expanded to include her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her impact will forever be felt in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Claude Belanger of Frenchville; five children, Rodney Belanger and his wife Gail of Bangor, Peggy Jarrett and her husband Joe of Fort Kent, Amy Blier and her husband Gil of Wallagrass, Shirley Cote and her husband Jason of Connecticut, and Greg Belanger and his wife Robin of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Rodney Belalnger Jr., Nikki Lucas, Hannah Zetterman, and Drew Blier; many great grandchildren; two siblings, Virgina Daigle of New York, and Danny Pinette and his wife Susan of Soldier Pond; a sister in law, Charlene Pinette of Wallagrass; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by a brother, Ashley Pinette.

Connie’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses, doctors and staff of St. Joseph Memory Care, Frenchville, for their compassionate and dedicated care extended to Connie throughout her stay.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, June 1, 2026, at St. Joseph Church, Soldier Pond. Relatives and friends may greet the family Monday morning 9 – 9:45 AM at the church.
