Fort Kent--- Corinne Nadeau, 100, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2021, at Crosswinds Residential Care. She was born in Fort Kent on April 12, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph and Zelia (Gaudreau) Leblond. Corinne worked at the 'Princess Kent Shop', then later worked at the Fort Kent hospital until she retired. She loved to garden, sew blankets, play bingo, read, and absolutely loved to fish. She is survived by three sons, Lincoln Nadeau of New Canada, Carroll Nadeau of New Canada, Donald Nadeau and his wife Lyse of New Canada; one daughter, Frances Collin of St. Agatha; 33 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She's predeceased by her husband Patrick Nadeau; two daughters, Patricia Guerette, Claudette Tanguay; two sons, Ervin Nadeau, Franklin Nadeau; one grandson, Dale Guerette; one daughter in-law, Joan Nadeau. All members of Corinne's family have predeceased her. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, 10am, at St. Louis Church.
