Madawaska, ME - Curtis Anthony Companik, age 22, formerly of Waterbury, CT, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home in Madawaska. Curtis was born August 12, 1993 in Waterbury a son of Michael and Judy (Hebert) Companik of Waterbury. He attended Kaynor Tech prior to moving to Maine where he was a 2012 graduate of Madawaska High School. Curtis was a former Cub Scout of Pack 39 and Boy Scout with Troop 283/11 and he enjoyed skateboarding. Beside his parents Curtis is survived by his brothers: Tanner Companik and Aiden Companik, both of Waterbury, his Paternal Grandmother: Mary Mavaro of Stratford and Maternal Grandmother: Murielle Sferrazza (Nanny). He was predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather: Bartlo Sferrazza of Madawaska. He also leaves behind lots of loving aunts, uncles and many caring cousins. The funeral will be held on Saturday November 21, 2015 at 9:15 A.M. from Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect, to St. Francis Xavier Church, 587 Baldwin Street, Waterbury for a Mass at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 20, 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
