Obituary

Van Buren--- Cynthia "Cyndi" Roy, 56, peacefully entered into rest January 30, 2024, following a courageous battle with COPD and cancer. She was born July 6, 1967 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Armand and Betty (Carini) Sirois.

During her few years of work, she worked at the former Daniel's Restaurant, Van Buren, and a Presque Isle shoe shop. Cyndi was a dedicated stay-at-home mother and cherished raising her family. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren as her family expanded and loved to share every waking moment with her children and grandchildren. Cyndi loved Maine winters and created beautiful snow sculptures. An avid crafter, many of her creations adorn the walls of her family home and the homes of her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of almost 25 years, Jeannot Roy; two daughters, Melissa and Rebecca Roy; two grandchildren, Evan and Ella; sisters, Betty Ann Roy and her husband Ken, and Cheryl Lizotte; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, James and John Sirois, and brother-in-law, Melvin Morrow
