Oxbow--- Dale E. Currier, 69, peacefully entered into rest Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Aroostook House of Comfort, with his daughter at his side. He was born March 25, 1951 in Presque Isle, a son of the late Eugene and Kathleen (Good) Currier.

Dale last worked for North Maine Woods at the Oxbow Checkpoint for several years, until his medical retirement in 2011. Previously, Dale's love of travel brought him all over the country while he did exploratory drilling in Maine and Alaska, and went on to transport motorhomes across the United States. He made trips all over the world, including Mexico, Australia, and Africa. Dale loved fishing and hunting and loved being on the road, watching the world go by outside his window.

He is survived by: his daughter, Shoshona Currier of Lewiston; three siblings, Frank Currier and his wife Jeanne of Portage, Gary Currier and his wife Leslie of Brunswick, and Ann Currier of Oxbow; three grandchildren, Azure, Owl, and Beowulf; and his niece Angel Dupont and nephew Michael Currier.

The family wishes to thank Connie Duchette for her extraordinary care of Dale.

A service will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
