Daniel "Paco" Levesque, born on October 27, 1961, in Madawaska, Maine, passed away on February 4, 2026, in Fort Kent, Maine. He was a cherished father, brother, uncle and friend, known for his warm spirit and infectious laughter.
Dan's love for his children was unparalleled. He leaves behind three children: Danielle Daigle and her husband Keith, Brandon Levesque and his wife Lydia, and Celeste Lausier. His grandchildren, Landyn and Haleigh Daigle, as well as Mia Levesque and Jaycee Ouellette.
Dan is also survived by his sister, Linda Thibeault, and her husband, Dan Thibeault. along with his niece, Kim Levasseur, who will all carry forward the memories of their time together. He had a deep connection with his friends, particularly enjoying thrilling adventures on a four-wheeler or snowmobile alongside his close friend, Roger Barriere.
Dan was predeceased by his mother, Marie Jeanne Levesque, and his father, Harold Levesque, nephew, Todd Thibeault, and his former wife, Marie Levesque. The loss of Dan is deeply felt by all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his vibrant personality and the joy he brought to those around him.
A visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lajoie Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Madawaska. A funeral service will take place the following day, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, also in Madawaska.
Dan's zest for life an ability to make people laugh will not be forgotten. His spirit will live on through the countless memories shared with his family and friends.
