St. David – Danny G. Cyr Sr, 67, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024, with his family by his side in Fort Kent, Maine. He was born in Fort Kent, Maine, on January 29, 1956, to Urbey L. Cyr, Sr. and Annette (Deschaine) Cyr of St. David, Maine.  He graduated from Madawaska High School in 1974.  Danny was outgoing and always brought smiles and laughter wherever he was. His children were always his main concern and always wanted the best for them.  Always saying he wanted to take someone to Las Vegas. His favorite place to be was the golf course where he could just be himself making people laugh and enjoy life. He enjoyed growing a garden and farming. Also loved hunting and ice fishing.  Danny Sr. is survived by his three sons, Danny G. Jr. (DJ) (Amanda) Cyr of Limestone, ME, Dennis (Morgan) Cyr of Grand Isle, ME, and Dana (Jessica) Cyr of St David ME; eight grandchildren, Danny III "little D, Carter, Wyatt, Seriah, Mason, Ashlyn, Victoria, and Kole; four great-grandchildren, Hazayle, Harmony, Haven, and Anastasia; two siblings, Jane Cyr of Grand Isle ME and Lucy Cote (Andrew) of Juniper, New Brunswick; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Danny Sr. was predeceased by his parents, Urbey L. Cyr Sr. and Annette Cyr; brothers, Urbey Cyr Jr., and James "Jim" Cyr; sister, Anne B Deschaine.  A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date.
