Fort Kent---David Cowie, 72, passed away March 15, 2023, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  He was born in Madawaska on October 5, 1950, son of the late Earle W. and Germaine (Bourgoin) Cowie.  He was an avid outdoorsman, and really enjoyed riding ATV and fishing.  He loved animals and had a great love for his pets.  He is survived by his wife, June (Albert) Cowie of Fort Kent; three brothers, Robert Cowie and his companion, Gertrude Ouellette, Donald Cowie and his wife Christine, and Michael Cowie and his wife Jeannine all of Madawaska; nieces and nephews.  There will be no funeral services held at this time.  Family and friends will gather at a later date to celebrate David's life.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
