Madawaska---David L. Daigle, Sr., 58, passed away at his residence on November 27, 2010. He was born in Van Buren, on April 25, 1952, the son of Leo James and Rella (Caron) Daigle. After serving twenty years in the United States Army, Dave returned home and worked as a truck driver for various businesses in the area. Being the jack-of -all-trades that he was, he enjoyed volunteering his time for various causes. He was a member of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders, post # 147 of Madawaska. He was also a member of the Madawaska Snowmobile Club. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Diane (Deschenes) Daigle of Madawaska; his mother, Rella Daigle of Madawaska; two daughters, Jessica Daigle and her husband Eldon of Madawaska, Jennifer Daigle of Madawaska; one son, David Daigle, Jr. and his companion Sarah Michaud of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Kurtis, Cassandra, Dakota, Logan, Jaidon, and Kody; one sister, Kathleen Cyr and her husband Paul of Madawaska; one brother, Glenn Daigle and his wife Dianne of Madawaska. He was predeceased by his father, Leo James "June" Daigle in 2002. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Tuesday, November 30th at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
