Madawaska---David "Dave" Ronald Morin, 71, of Madawaska, Maine, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 25, 2023. He was born in Madawaska, Maine, on December 2, 1951, to Camille and Normande (Cote) Morin. He was a devoted father, grandfather, friend, and businessman who was well known for his love for his church, family, friends, and his community. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan of Madawaska; children, Jesse (Amy) Morin of Buxton, ME, Julie Morin and her companion Zach Hanning of Bristol, CT; grandchildren, Rylee, Regan, Rowan, and Reggie; five sisters, Carlene, Jackie, Jean (Rick), Patricia and Kathy (Travis); two brothers: Jeffrey (Susan) and Denis as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by brothers: John and Daniel. Dave loved his church, spending time with his devoted wife of many years, kids, and grandchildren, enjoying his snowmobile trips and adventures and always brought a smile to everyone's face whenever he was around. He was a pillar in his community, and he served his community through many different titles. He always taught his kids to stand tall, be proud, and to know themselves in all situations and supported them all throughout the many accomplishments of their lives, and above all; he taught his children how to love Jesus the most. Family will receive friends at the Edmundston First United Pentecostal Church, 32 Mgr. Plourde Ave, Edmundston, NB on Friday, March 31st, 2023, from 3 -7 p.m. (American time). The 'going home' service for Dave will be held at the church on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. (American time) with visitation prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 a.m. (American time) Interment will be at a later date. Donations in memory of Dave may be made to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, C/O Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
