Fort Kent--- David J. Pelletier, 63, passed away at his residence in Fort Kent on February 29, 2024.  He was born in Fort Kent on September 24, 1960, the son of Lucien and Irma (Philibert) Pelletier.  Dave was the owner of Valley Glass, starting at the age of 18 with his father and retiring at the age of 61.  He was a member of the Fort Kent Fire Department for 31 years, acting as Chief for seven of those years.  He was also an advanced EMT for the Madawaska Ambulance Service for 22 years.  The family would like to thank the community members for the years of support that was given to Dave and Valley Glass.  He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-six years, Linda (Marin) Pelletier of Fort Kent; one son, Kelby Pelletier and his companion, Hilaree Schmidt of Brunswick; one brother, Michael Pelletier and his wife Karen of Presque-Isle; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by one sister, Ginette Boucher.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m.  at the Fort Kent Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday, March 9, 2024, with a luncheon to follow.
