Debbie Guimond

Fort Kent--- Debbie Guimond, 66, passed away October 19, 2026, at a Presque Isle hospital, following a short illness. She was born April 23, 1960 in Fort Kent, a daughter of the late Gerard and Rita (White) Perreault.

Debbie last worked at the Fort Kent Public Library for many years, but she was a devoted homemaker and loved caring for her family and raising her children. She was ecstatic as her family grew to include her grandchildren, whom she loved to spoil.

She is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, Larry Guimond of Fort Kent; three children, Lucas Guimond and his wife Shantelle of Fort Kent, Cassie Ferris of Scarborough, and Corinna Caron and her husband Jesse of Corinna; five grandchildren, Ashton, Abby, Ben, Lennox, and Monroe; a brother, Glenn Perreault of Wallagrass; three sisters, Sandra Corriveau of Claire, NB, Geraldine Raymond of New Canada, and Brenda Michaud of Bangor; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Debbie was predeceased by two brothers, Jerry Perreault and Todd Perreault.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at St. Louis Church, Fort Kent. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Fort Kent Public Library, 1 Monument Square, Fort Kent, Maine 04743. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
