Obituary

Cyr Plantation--- Deborah A. Davis, 63, peacefully entered into rest February 2, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born October 8, 1960, in Concord, MA, she was the daughter of the late James and Barbara (Schnair) Davis Sr., and stepdaughter of the late Bella Desjardins

Debbie relocated to Cyr Plantation in 2004 to care for her father and enjoy the people and sights of the St. John Valley. She last worked in the office and as kitchen manager/trainer of Tulsa, Van Buren, for several years. Previously, Debbie worked at the former VMS Advertising and Van Buren's former Kevlar. She also worked for Cyr Plantation for several years. During her many years raising her family in Massachusetts, she was an editor for the Beacon Village, and was a beloved waitress and bartender for China Ruby, Maynard, MA, where her sense of humor and sarcasm entertained her customers for hours.

Debbie adored her growing family and looked forward to their visits during many family reunions and cookouts. An avid animal lover, she loved to watch the wildlife around the homestead or spoil her dog, Bella, and her newest addition, her kitten Buddy. Debbie enjoyed some crafting but was mostly an avid reader and could devour any book and subject matter quickly and led to quite the menagerie on her bookshelves.

She is lovingly remembered by her four children, Edward Kennedy of Cyr Plt., Nicole Kalloch of Gardner, MA, Samantha Roman and her husband Junior of Gardiner, and Douglas Kalloch of Ft. Fairfield; five grandchildren, Lianna, Aliyah, Dawson, Armani, and Antonio; two siblings, Jim Davis Jr. and Dawn Card, both of Acton, MA; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and stepmother, Debbie was predeceased by a brother, Richie "Mountain" Davis.

At Debbie's request, a Celebration of Life will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. To share memories and condolences online, please visit Debbie's tribute page at www.LajoieFuneralHome.com
