Van Buren--- Dell F. Ouellette, 83, died peacefully August 20, 2016, at a Caribou hospital after a brief illness. She was born June 29, 1933 in Cyr Plantation, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha (Ayotte) Madore.
She was employed as a store clerk for many years with various businesses in Van Buren. Dell was a member of the St. Bruno-St. Remi Church Choir and was also a parish mercy meal volunteer.
She is survived by: one son, Steve Ouellette and his wife Shirley of Duluth, MN; one daughter, Lita Madore and her husband Jim of Van Buren; two grandsons, Cory Ouellette and his wife Stephanie and Jesse Ouellette and his wife Nateah, all of Duluth, MN; and five great grandchildren, Sophie, Madeline, Summer, Falisha and Lucas, all of Duluth, MN.
In addition to her parents, Dell was predeceased by her husband, Daniel A. Ouellette in 2006, and two infant daughters, Karen Ouellette in 1951 and Tina Ouellette in 1955.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, August 29, 2016, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Main St., Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family Monday morning 9:30-10:45 at the church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
