Van Buren--- Delmont St. Jean, 73, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at a Caribou hospital. He was born January 25, 1942 in Van Buren, a son of the late Raoul and Rachel (Desjardins) St. Jean. Delmont lived and worked in Connecticut for many years. He returned to his hometown of Van Buren to care for his loving mother, until her passing in 2012. He is survived: by two children, Lisa Gallo and her husband Donny and Timothy St. Jean, both of Florida; two brothers, Roger St. Jean and wife Mary of East Hartford, CT, and Clayton St. Jean and his wife Kelly of Manchester, CT; two sisters, Geneva Lagasse and her husband Guy of Manchester, CT, and Winona Cavanaugh of Marlborough, CT; several nieces, nephews & cousins; and a cousin, Ann Bourgoin of Van Buren, whom visited Delmont often and helped with his wellbeing the last several years. Besides his parents, Delmont is predeceased by two sisters, Pauline St. Amand and Marjorie Daigle, and a brother, Eugene St Jean. At Delmont's request, funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
