St. Francis—Delmont S. Soucy, 83, passed away at the Caribou Veterans Home on January 23, 2021. He was born in St. Francis on February 20, 1937 to Victorie and Cesarie (Michaud) Soucy. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia in 2004. One son Chad in 2020; two brothers Gary and Ernie; two sisters Rachel and Freda. He is survived by his children, Deborah Jandreau and her husband Kenneth, Joya Morin and husband Marcel, and Brian all of St. Francis; Dale Soucy and wife Linda, Mark Soucy and wife Erin all from Fort Kent; Elaine Hafford and husband Sheldon of Fort Fairfield; One brother George Soucy of Fort Kent; One sister Janet of Connneticut. He also leaves behind his grandchildren who he adored, Kara, Paula, Ricky, Joseph, Jared, Joshua, Lyndsay, Taylor, Leah, Bailey, Paisley, Wynter, and Matt along with 12 great grandchildren.
