Madawaska---Dennis Rose, 66, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer, at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born in Fulton, New York on December 16, 1946, son of the late Clinton and Irene (Holden) Rose. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and was a member of the American Legion, post 147 of Madawaska. Dennis loved his job working as a millwright at Twin Rivers Paper Company, where he enjoyed the company of his many co-workers. In his spare time, Dennis loved riding motorcycle and camping with his wife. Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family. He is survived by his loving wife of forty eight years, Sandra (Boucher) Rose of Madawaska; one daughter, Nika Martin and her husband Ron of Madawaska; one son, Timothy Scott Rose and his wife Elsa of Clovis, CA; seven grandchildren, Dustin Martin and his wife Justine, Nicholas Martin, Michaela Martin, Phillip Rose, Kaiya Rose, Nadia Rose, Hana Rose; seven sisters; two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Wednesday, July 24 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until time of service on Wednesday. Interment will be held at a later date at the Caribou Veteran's Cemetery.
