Van Buren--- Dianne (Cyr) Gagnon, 85, peacefully entered into rest Monday, August 21, 2023, at a Van Buren healthcare facility. She was born June 27, 1938 in Notre Dame de Lourdes, NB, Canada, a daughter of the late Louis and Azilda Cyr.

Her and her husband lived and worked in Connecticut and later Bangor for many years. After her husband passed away, Dianne relocated to Van Buren to be closer to her siblings in New Brunswick, Canada.

She is survived by one brother, Phillippe Cyr of Halifax, Nova Scotia; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Dianne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roger Gagnon, in 2008, and nine siblings, Alfena Dube, Emilienne Dionne, Wilfred Cyr, Gerard Cyr, Roger Cyr, Adrien Cyr, Theresa Lariviere, Mai-Jeanne Burgess, and Lauraina Levesque.

A graveside service will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Grand River Cemetery, State Street, Van Buren. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
