Fort Kent—Dolores (Caron) Plourde, 84, passed way peacefully on October 3, 2021, with her daughter and husband by her side, at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born on September 11, 1937, daughter of the late Omer and Marie Ann (Bouley) Caron. Her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were so near and dear to her heart. The holidays were her favorite time of the year; she loved to decorate the whole house with her husband. Omer wasn't always so enthusiastic when it came to decorating, because he would be stuck carrying all of the big boxes of decorations. There's nothing she loved more than when all her siblings, children, nieces, and nephews came to visit. The house would be filled with laughter and the aroma of all the amazing food she would make. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Omer Plourde; four daughters, Janice Nadeau and her husband Thomas of Bradley, Rebecca Dee and her husband Tom of Bangor, Louise Albert and her husband Marc of Madawaska, Bonnie Hand and her husband John of Brewer; two sisters, Frances Shepard, Terry Caron; three brothers, David, Roger and Reno Caron; ten grandchildren, Tiffany, Ryan, Valery, Alyssa, Nathan, Jacques, Chanelle, Samantha, John Bradley, Shannon; ten great grandchildren, Savanna, Colin, Cooper, Bronson, Leona, Molly, Aliza, Dylan, Greyson, Mason; along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She is predeceased by her parents Omer and Marie Ann (Bouley) Caron and three brothers, Paul, John, and Michael Caron. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 14, 2021, 10AM, at St. Louis church.
