Van Buren--- Dolores M. Cyr, 87, peacefully entered into rest Monday, February 7, 2022, at a Van Buren nursing facility. Born May 27, 1934, in Green River, NB, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Theodule and Delima (Bosse) Roy.

She is survived by four sons, Guildo Cyr and his wife Sandra, Charles Cyr and his wife Judy, all of Van Buren, Donald Cyr and his wife Karen of Freeport, and Philip Cyr and his wife Francesca of Humboldt, AZ; two siblings, Gildor Roy of Newington, CT, and Norman Roy of St. Basile, NB, Canada; six grandchildren, Nikki, Melissa, Joey, Melanie, Jordon & Mason; two great grandchildren, Addilyn & Andrew; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her husband Guy Cyr in 1991, her daughter Muriel in 1984, and fifteen siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Main St., Van Buren. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
