St. John---Dora Berube, 88, passed away on November 19, 2023, at a Frenchville health care facility.  She was born in Fort Kent on March 11, 1935, daughter of the late Irenee and Elise (Blanchard) Dumond.  She was a communicant of St. John Vianney Parish and was a member of the Fort Kent Columbiettes and the Ladies of St. Anne, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.  Dora volunteered many hours at the food pantry in St. Francis and the Good Shepard in Fort Kent.  She especially loved music, dancing, and the outdoors.  She is survived by four children, Connie Thibodeau (Lawrence "Bud" Barre) of Berlin, CT, Annie Spranzo (Michael) of New Britain, CT, Jennie Ouellette (Raymond) of St. John, Fannie Charette Theriault (Bruce) of North Dakota; ten grandchildren, Shawn, Bobbie Jo, Jacob, Josh, Derick, Myra, Joseph, Kathie, Mary, and Victoria; thirteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Vinnie Berube; three children, Tammie, Bonnie, and Ronnie; one grandson, Jason Thibodeau; two sons-in-law, James Lamarre, and Terry Charette.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the St. Louis Church.  Relatives and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, November 21 and from 8:30am until 9:30am on Wednesday before the Mass.  For live streaming of the funeral service, please visit www.wfktv-4.com
