Eagle Lake --- Dora "Doris" Dube, 86, passed away on January 15, 2019, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 24, 1932, daughter of the late Joseph and Delia (Labbe) Lamarre. She enjoyed making beautiful quilts and was known for her famous fudge. She was known for her hospitality, where no one could visit without getting a homecooked meal. She was a caring, hardworking Mother who always took such great care of her family. She is survived by her five children, Lucy Dube of Eagle Lake, Lorraine Dube and her companion Bob of Lucerne, Lester Dube and his wife Wendy of Eagle Lake, Elaine Holden and her husband George of Lewiston, and Bruce Dube of Eagle Lake; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Dora is predeceased by her beloved husband Lucien Dube, one grandson, Baby George; as being the last surviving member of her immediate family, she is predeceased by her 13 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the St. Mary's Church in Eagle Lake. Family and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 9-10:30, the morning of the service. Spring interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
