Madawaska--- Dorilda "Titite" Daigle passed peacefully on September 13, 2025, at Ridgewood Estates in Madawaska at the age of 92. She was born on April 12, 1933, the youngest daughter of the late Emile and Agnes (Picard) Michaud.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Normand; four children and their spouses, Lisa Roy and her husband Leo, Greg and his wife Christina, Deb Thibeault and her husband Jeff, and Pat and his wife Paula; ten grandchildren, Gabe Wiseman, Lilli Alqsous, Graci Wiseman, Jaime Moody, Chad Daigle, Alec Thibeault, Jill Thibeault, Emily Labrie, Lauren Ramini, and Katrina Borden; four great grandchildren, Sierra Smith, Jaxen Durio, Sylvie Ramini, and Malcolm Ramini; a special niece, Joan Michaud Hebert and nephew Don Michaud; and many other nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Dorilda was predeceased by her siblings, Lewis Michaud, Sr. Aurelie Michaud, Rita Lavoie, Camille Michaud, and Aurel Michaud.
Dorilda "Titite" was a devout Catholic, attending weekly Masses, daily masses at times, and praying the Rosary daily. When Normand retired, they moved to Long Lake full time. She joined Les Dames de Ste. Anne in St. Agathe of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and became a lifetime member. The lake was a special place for her and her family. Many fond memories of family dinners, gatherings, campfires, sleepovers, card games, gardening, boating, swimming, ice skating, snowmobiling, and fishing. Her life was dedicated to loving, supporting and caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren, instilling the true meaning of family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at St. Agatha Catholic Church, St. Agatha. Relatives and friends may offer their condolences at the church Saturday morning 9 – 9:45 AM at the church. Interment will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers donation in Dorilda's name may be made to Ridgewood Activity Fund, 480 Ridgeview Ave, Madawaska, ME 04756.
