Obituary

St. David - Earl M. Redwine passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the age of 75. He was born April 26, 1940 in Phoenix Arizona, the son of the late Earl and Nancy (Williams) Redwine. He graduated from McClean High School, Virginia, and Johns Hopkins University. Earl had an enormous intellectual appetite, reading almost every book in the public library, and was considered a prodigy. He was a fountain of historical facts and trivia, had a very witty sense of humor, and always loved to tell a good story. He will always be loved and fondly remembered for his keen mind and his compassion for the little guy. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Lorraine (Berube) Redwine; 5 children: Earl Redwine and wife Marie of Rio Rancho NM, Nancy Redwine of Lynn MA, Rebecca Neff and husband Alan of Chandler, AZ, Henry Redwine of Corinna, Jeff Redwine of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren, Dakota, Hunter, Nicole, Becky, Alyssa, Jake, Levi, Madi, Nations and Gavino; a great granddaughter, Ally; one brother Robert Redwine and his wife Julie of Benton; loving stepmother Grace Redwine of Lawrenceville GA; and many special nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. David Church. Friends and family may call from 8:30 - 9:45. Interment will be in St. Bruno Cemetery, Van Buren. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 114-10th Ave., Madawaska.
