Fort Kent --- Edgar Plourde, 94, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2019 at his residence. He was born on December 13, 1924, son of the late Joseph and Marie (Lafrance) Plourde. Edgar is survived by his two children, Mona Smith and her husband Buddy of Florida and Bob Plourde and his wife Ann of Fort Kent; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Edwin and Ronald Plourde; and two sisters, Anita Oakes and Adrienne Pelletier. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Gilda Plourde; and 15 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent.
