Madawaska---Edith Levesque, 79, passed away January 9, 2015 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Madawaska on April 28, 1935, daughter of the late Henri and Agnes (Ouellette) Cyr. Edith was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her door was always open to family and friends. Her passion was her flower gardens and enjoyed tending to them. Edith was an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by her husband of fifty nine years, Erney Levesque of Madawaska; one daughter, Judy Levesque of St. David; five sons, Lester Levesque and his wife Pamela of Conway, NH, Michael Levesque and his wife Carla of Silver Lake, NH, Gary Levesque and his wife Robin of Wilton, ME, Roger Levesque and his wife Tammy of Albany, NH, Kenneth Levesque of St. David; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Fernande; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister and five brothers. A Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family later in the spring
