Madawaska, Maine and Dunedin, Florida --- The family of Edmonde Friolet Gagnon, 95, wishes to inform friends and family of their loss and our heavenly father's gain. Edmonde passed away on August 15th,2019, at her daughter's home in St. David Maine, surrounded by family.  Edmonde was born and grew up in Caraquet, Canada, eventually residing in Madawaska as a homemaker, raising her five children. In retirement she and her husband Adrien (love of her life, who predeceased her by four years) with whom she was married for almost 69 years, wintered in Dunedin Florida.  She is survived by her only son, Jacques and Huguette of Riviere Verte, Canada, her four daughters, Nicole and Brian Saunders of Blackstone, Massachusetts, Ginette and Richard Albert of St. David, Maine, Lynn and Pascal Pariset of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, Lise and Gary Pelletier of Madawaska, Maine, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers Louis Philip and Diane Friolet, William Friolet, sister Jeanine Gallien, sister in law Valerie Friolet, sister in law Bernadette and Ronald Bourgoin, brother in law Roland and Jackie Marquis, and aunt Anita Morneault.  She is predeceased by her mother Marie Gallien and father Joseph Friolet, brothers Gerard, Antonin, Fortunat and sisters Hedwidge, Adrienne, and Gemma.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8:30 to 9:45am on Monday         before the service.
