Fort Kent --- Edna Dubois, 85, who is now living her 5th Day, passed away on January 27, 2020, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born on June 11, 1934, daughter of the late Alcime and Helene (Soucy) Nadeau. She was an active communicant of the St. John Vianney Parish and was a devoted member of the local Columbettes as well as the Ladies of St. Anne. As a lady of St. Anne, she was honored with the title of Mother of The Year in 2015; she was always considered Mother of the Year to all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her eight children, Judy Ouellette (George) of East Millinocket, Susan Marquis (Rosaire) of Fort Kent, David Dubois (Pamela) of Winslow, Claire Moss of Fort Kent, Msgr. Andrew Dubois of Portland, Charles Dubois (Betty) of Lisbon, Patricia Pinette (Leland) of Wallagrass, and Christine Kinney (Heath) of Eddington; 14 grandchildren, Nicholas, Ann Marie, Pamela, Stacey, Joshua, Mark, Andrew, Nicole, Michelle, Tyler, Christopher, Felicia, Sawyer, and Hayley May; seven great-grandchildren, Emma, Aidan, Hayden, Charlotte, Caleb, Kyrie and Tucker; six siblings, Ronald Nadeau (Corinne) of Rockville, CT, Fidele Nadeau of Lewiston, Clarence Nadeau (Ginette) of Mascouche, P.Q., Regina Lang of Baker Lake, N.B., Olida Plourde of Fort Kent, Sr. Adele Nadeau, f.m.a., of Campbellton, N.B., along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Edna is predeceased by her beloved husband Leonard "Garcon" Dubois; one grandchild, Travis Pinette; and 14 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am, February 1, 2020 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Family and Friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Friday, January 31, 2020 and from 9:30 – 10:45am the morning of the service. In lieu of flowers contributions in Edna's memory may be made to the St. John Vianney Parish Building Restoration Fund, 26 E. Main St. Fort Kent, ME 04743
