St. David---Edna G. Hebert, 91, passed away at a Bangor health care facility on August 2, 2011. She was born in Caribou on February 12, 1920 the daughter of the late Louis and Lumina Gagnon. She enjoyed spending time with her family, but she especially loved her great grandchildren. Edna is survived by her four children, Rita Michaud of Veazie, Louie Hebert and his wife Raymonde of Glenburn, Helen Connor of Tennessee, and John Hebert and his wife Diane of Madawaska; twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; one sister, Rita Martin and her husband Lester of Caribou; one brother, Hector Gagnon and his wife Therese of Connor; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alcide Hebert in 1999 and by several siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, August 5 at the St. David Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8:30am until time of service on Friday. Interment will immediately follow the service in the parish cemetery.
