Ashland & Oakfield--- Edward "Pooch" Clark, 60, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 3, 2019. He was born June 17, 1959 in Hartford, CT, a son of Edward Clark and the late Barbara (Skidgel) Clark.
Prior to his passing, Ed had worked about five years with the Irving Mill, Ashland. Previously he worked several years with Hannington Bros., Macwahoc, Fraser Timber, Ashland, and years as a long-haul trucker. He was a member of the Masons and, during his younger years, was a devoted Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts. Ed and his wife enjoyed driving and traveling, sometimes taking advantage of a long-haul run to visit the sites across the country. He adored his one and only granddaughter, whom lovingly had her grandfather wrapped around her little finger.
He is survived by: his wife of over 40 years, Debbie (O'Clair) Clark of Ashland & Oakfield; his father of Ashland; four children, Nick, Eric and Ashley Clark, all of Berwick, and Heather Clark and her husband Brian Keran of Oakfield; four siblings, Mark Clark and his wife Nora, Sheila Dube and her husband Todd, Tanya Clark, all of Ashland, and Susan Clark and her companion Clyde Eastman of Masardis; one granddaughter, Addison Keran; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Union Congregation Church, Sheridan Rd., Ashland, with Pastor Don Morton officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family Wednesday 6-8:00 PM and Thursday morning 9-10:45 AM at the church. Burial will be in Ashland Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home 114 Exchange St./PO Box 39, Ashland.
