MADAWASKA--Edwina Pelletier Sirois, 75, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2019 at a Madawaska health care facility.  She was born in Madawaska on July 8, 1943, a daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Dumond) Pelletier. Edwina was a Eucharistic Minister at the St. Thomas Church in Madawaska, as well as an active member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Daughters of Isabella.  She will be missed!

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Reno Sirois, two brothers: Romeo (Linda) Pelletier, Ronald (Lourde) Pelletier, seven sisters: Irma Pelletier, Thelma Hopkins, Rose Marie (Guy) Gauvin, Blanche (Larry) Bell, Marie Edna Sweet, Cecile Casey, Lorraine (Germain) Gosselin, Sylvia Nadeau. Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Edwina was pre-deceased by her sister Nora, four brothers, Normand, Roland, Milford and Roger Pelletier.

Edwina's husband and the family would like to express a heartfelt Thank You for the excellent care provided by the staff of Northern Light Home Care & Hospice and High View Manor of Madawaska, for the past three months.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday February 9th, 2019 at St. Thomas Church. Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 at Lajoie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 114-10th Ave in Madawaska. Spring internment will be in the parish cemetery.
