Obituary

St. David---Elmer O. Dube, 83, passed away on April 13, 2014 at a Frenchville health care facility. He was born in St. David on November 21, 1930, son of the late Jeremie and Seraphine (Gendreau) Dube. Elmer served two years in the United States Marine's and was a lifetime member of the American Legion of Madawaska. He worked as a potato farmer for forty two years on the family homestead. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus of Madawaska. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edwina (Guerrette) Dube of St. David; two sons, Michael Dube and his wife Jeannine of Madawaska, Ronald Dube and his wife Jessica of St. David; four grandchildren, Jason and Matthew Dube of Madawaska, Jacob and Kyle Dube of St. David; one brother, Alcide Dube of Lewiston; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille and Cecile; one brother, Yvon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the St. David Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until time of service on Monday.
