Fort Kent—Elmer Dubois, 81, passed away on December 22, 2020 after a battle with COVID-19 in Bangor, holding his grandson Scott Whitney's hand. He was born on March 31, 1939, son of the late Leo and Delina (Michaud) Dubois. Elmer loved the outdoors which included camping, fishing, hunting. He enjoyed playing card games like charlemagne with friends and family. Elmer is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Cecilia (Hebert) Dubois; two sons, Brian Dubois and his wife Lisa of Fort Kent, Clark Dubois and his wife Vicky Ann of St. Agatha; one daughter, Karen Whitney of Fort Kent; one brother, Omer Dubois and his wife Rella of Fort Kent; one special nephew, Ronald Hebert and his wife Denise of Clair, N.B; five grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Jenna, Kera, Scott; three great grandchildren, Lily, Abby, Ezra. Elmer is predeceased by his parents Leo and Delina (Michaud) Dubois; one brother, Danny Dubois. A Mass of Christian burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
