Ashland & Dexter--- Eric J. Poulin, 60, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 31, 2020. He was born March 28, 1960 in Rome, NY, a son of Polly A. (Richardson) Poulin and the late Joseph A. Poulin (dec. 2002).

Eric graduated from Dexter High School in 1978 and then attended Washington County Technical College, where he studied logging. He relocated to Ashland in 1981 and worked for Great Northern. After purchasing his own skidder, he continued to work the woods for many local logging contractors. He spent the last 18 years of his career working for Maine DOT.

He loved his family and spending time with them at the family camp in Dexter. Eric enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and would often be found watching them with a prideful smile beaming across his face. Recently he became rededicated to his faith in God; he spent the last several months of his life sharing his testimony to inspire others to return to Christ.

Eric is survived by: his loving wife of 17 years, Trina; his beloved mother, Polly; six devoted children, Rachel, Jason and wife Nicole, Jeremy and wife Jacky, Suzanne and partner Dan, Adam and Emma; grandchildren, Baily, Jamie, Haily, Cole, Reid, Charles, Jubilee, and Lilly; a sister, Cheryl; two brothers, Ricky and wife Linda, and Gary and wife Hope; and several nieces and nephews.

At Eric's request, a Celebration of Life was held at the Poulin Family Camp, Dexter, for his immediate family and friends. Arrangements were a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St./PO Box 39, Ashland.
