Wallagrass --- Esther H. Pinette (1948 – 2018), 70, passed away peacefully at home in Wallagrass. Surrounded by her family on August 19th, 2018.  Esther was born on August 4th, 1948. The daughter of the late Edwin and Zelma (York) Mclellan. She is survived by her loving husband Donald N. Pinette of 52 years of marriage. A true love story that began in a potato house when Esther threw French fries at Donald. A Few weeks later, the two moved to Connecticut and were married. Esther loved spending time at the lake with her dogs (Chicky, Gypsy, and Mr. Poe), husband, and family. She enjoyed everything from Disney to Stephen King. She loved reading suspense, horror, and crime novels. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking for family and friends, and most importantly spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband Donald; daughters and sons-in-law Dawn and Nelson Mendez Jr, Emily and Daniel LaCasse, and Lisa Pinette; grandchildren Reva, Jason, Justin, Makayla, Allyson, Macallan, Lincoln, Steven, Nicole, and Katelyn; great grandson SJ; goddaughters Carrie and Darcie; several nieces and nephews; and brothers and sister Jimmy, Junior, Andrew, and Pearl; and sisters-in-law Linda, Terry, Judy, and Jenny. She was pre-deceased by her parents Edwin and Zelma; sisters Mary, Harriet and Brenda; brother-in-law Darrell; and parents-in-law Angeline and Romeo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the St. Louis Church.
