Madawaska---Evelyn Y. Dufour, 99, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Clair, New Brunswick on May 11, 1913, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Anastasie (Long) Lang. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella in Madawaska. She worked at Fraser Paper in Madawaska for many years as a secretary. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Cassie Long of Presque-Isle; several nieces and nephews. Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, Leo James (Jack) Dufour; three brothers, Romeo, Leon, and Leonide; four sisters, Gertrude Plourde, Laura Mae Gagne, Lucienne Gagne, Jeannette Dionne. A Graveside Service will be held in the St. Thomas Cemetery at 11am on June 19, 2012. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
