Hamlin--- Florence Corbin, 86, passed away March 10, 2022, at Maine Veterans Home, Caribou. She was born July 14, 1935, in St. Leonard, NB, Canada, a daughter of the late Theophile and Anna (Marquis) Boudreau.
Florence was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished caring for her growing family. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Hamlin, and a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Van Buren. In her spare time, Florence enjoyed crochet and tending to her lovely flower garden in her yard.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Spicer of Camden, Grace Corbin and her partner, Deborah Taylor of Greenwood, and Nancy Leclerc and husband Hamel of Grand Falls, NB; two brothers, Roland Boudreau and Real Boudreau; three sisters, Evelyn Schmidt, Denise Brunelle, and Ginette Thibault; three grandchildren, Justin, Jessica and Jason; four great grandsons, Carter, Zackary, Xavier, and Alexandre; a dear friend, Arnold Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, James Corbin in 2011, five brothers, Aurele, Roger, Rudolph, Bertin, and Leonard Boudreau; and two sisters, Carmen Conte and Lucille Roy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, April 22, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hamlin Rd., Hamlin. Relatives and friends may greet her family Friday morning 9 AM until the time of mass at the church. Interment will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, ME 04785.
