Fort Kent- It is with great sadness that the family of Florence (Flo) Madore announce her passing on February 6, 2021 at N.M.M.C. in Fort Kent.  She was born on January 28, 1931 to Albenie "Bill" Desjardins and Catherine Michaud of Soldier Pond.

She was married to Philip Madore in Fort Kent on July 24, 1950.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Philip of 66 years; her siblings Leola, Richard, Rena Mae, Jerry, and Margaret (Peggy); and 3 grandchildren Michel, Emmanuel, and Mark.

She is survived by her three (3) children, Susan (husband, Joel), James (wife, Linda), and Peter.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Florence grew up in Soldier Pond, married Philip and raised their family in Fort Kent.  The both of them worked at their respective jobs until their retirement.

She was a member of the Senior Citizen's Club where she enjoyed meeting with friends and acquaintances to play Cribbage and Charlemagne.   She was also a member of the Lady's of St. Anne and Fort Kent Columbiettes.  She enjoyed many hobbies but her favorite pastime was spending time with family.  She lived her faith with an unwavering trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, being an exemplary example as a witness to her faith.
