Madawaska---Florence Roy, 74, passed away on March 30, 2014 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Grand Isle on August 8, 1939, daughter of the late Henery and Delia (Lagasse) Beaulieu. She is survived by six girls, Diane Charette and her husband Ray of Bangor, Norma Chase and her husband Eric of Florenceville, New Brunswick, Karen Laplante and her husband Mike of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Carol Cyr and her husband Roger of St. David, Patsy Davenport and her husband Vaughn of Centerville, New Brunswick, Della Laplante and her husband Rene of St. John, New Brunswick; three sons, Allen Roy of Augusta, Melvin Roy of Lille, Don Roy and his wife Michelle of Frenchville; eight sisters and three brothers; eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her husband Vernon Roy; two sons, Eldon and Larry Roy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 9am until 10:30am on Thursday before the service. Spring interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
