Caswell--- Frederic E. King, 69, died unexpectedly at his home Monday, April 6, 2015. He was born May 28, 1945 in Grand Falls, NB, Canada, a son of the late Elie and Meda (Labreck) King. Fred worked with Weatherhead Farms and other local farms for many years as a farm hand, until his retirement in 2010. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #2851, Limestone for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved tilling the ground and growing a vast array of vegetable to share with family and friends. He is survived by: four children, Mike King, Timmy King, and Carol Kinney and her husband Brian, all of Westbrook, and Richard King and his wife Damienne of Maryland; four siblings, Evangeline McLaughlin and her husband Clarence of Limestone, Carol Leeman of Caswell, Ernest King and his companion Carol of Van Buren, and Joyce Johndro and her husband Norman of Limestone; two grandchildren, Ashton Kinney and Autumn King. Besides his parents, Fred is predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Campbell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, April 13, 2015 at St. Joseph Church, Hamlin.
