Frederick J. Sirois Jr. passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at his home in Grand Isle at the age of 65. Born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Frederick J. Sirois Sr. and Lorraine Coppens. Despite the chemotherapy progressing well and him being on the path to triumph over his 2nd cancer, he died unexpectedly of a heart attack with his wife Cecile and daughter Michelle at his side. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering smile, unparalleled amiability and exuberant joie de vivre which made him the man we`ve grown to know and love. He`s survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cecile Desjardins Sirois of Grand Isle and his two children, Michelle and Bryan, who now reside in Ottawa, Ontario. Michelle is married to Marcus Scheidegger who together, raise two of Fred`s most proud achievements, his grandchildren Milana and Mareika. Bryan is married to Josee Picard, whose future children will grow to love their late grandfather as much as their cousins do today. Fred has four brothers; John of Punta Gorda, Florida, Larry & Penny of Saco, Steve & Liz of Madawaska and Edward & Sylvie, also of Madawaska. In addition, he has countless close nieces, nephews and many sisters and brothers in-law. If you'd like to help us in celebrating his life and wishing him well on whichever project he's taking on next, we welcome you to join us on Saturday, March 15th.
