Fort Kent—Gary Saucier, 73, from Fort Kent, ME, passed away at EMMC in Bangor on Nov. 28, 2022. He is predeceased by his father, Gordon Saucier. Gary is survived by his mother, Pearl (Fournier) Saucier of Eagle Lake; three sons, Barry Saucier and his spouse Kathy of Belfast, Steven Saucier of Winterville, and Bruce Saucier of Bangor; his sisters, Glenda (Saucier) Parent and her spouse Roland of Nibley, UT, Patty (Saucier) Fournier and her spouse Lomen of Winterville; his brother, Gregg Saucier and his spouse Honey (Pelletier) of Stella, NC; four grandchildren, Cody, Joshua, Alison, and Luke Saucier; along with lots of nieces and nephews. Gary is also survived by his significant other, Norina Smart of St. John. Gary was a marine who served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed the wilderness. Gary was a very generous person and made monthly donations to many organizations. Many thanks to the staff at EMMC for the great care and compassion they showed during his hospitalization. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
