At the Foyer Ste-Elizabeth of Baker-Brook, November 27, 2020, Mr. Gary Smart of Clair NB passed away at the age of 74 years and 6 months. He was the husband of Mrs. Rina Castonguay Smart, son of Mrs. Jeanora Gagnon of Fort Kent and of the late Mr. Gerard Vaillancourt.

Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by his children: Carrie-Ann and Stacy Smart of Portland, his wife's children: Mike St-Onge (Hélène) of St-Hilaire, Lisa St-Onge of Lac-Baker, Ricky St-Onge (Laura Nicholson) of Kingston ON, Manon St-Onge Oakes (Jim Daigle) of New Canada ME, his grandchildren: Parise (Jason), Denise, Tyler, Corey, Chase, Megan (Bert), Nathan, Nicole, Nathalie, Andrew, Adam, his great grandchildren: Jackson and Katelin and his sisters: Hilda Ouellette (Dick) of Frenchville ME and Linda Beveridge (Jack) of Bangor.

His funeral will take place in the Church of Clair NB with burial in the parish Cemetery. Given the restrictions established by the Ministry of Health, the guests will be summoned by the family.

Mr. Smart was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th degree, Council 1934 of Fort-Kent.
