Madawaska---Gene N. Charette, Jr., 41, passed away unexpectedly in Caribou on December 11, 2020.   He was born in Fort Kent on January 3, 1979, son of Gene Sr., and Diane Cyr of Madawaska.  Junior was an avid crafter and enjoyed the outdoors and nature.  He is survived by his son, Keegan Charette of Dresden Mills; his sisters, Carolyn Stevens and her husband David of Oakland, Christine Belanger and her husband Jerry of Fort Kent; nieces and nephews, Brittany Nadeau and her husband Jeff , Ally Stevens, Cody Stevens, and Dylan Belanger; a special great niece, Oakley Nadeau; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Junior was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leon Reed and Verna Cyr; his paternal grandparents, Nelson and Doris Charette; his sister, Cathy; his brother, Christopher.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Junior's memory to Lajoie Funeral Home, 114-10 ^th Ave., Madawaska, ME 04756.
