Madawaska--- Geneva Fournier, 84, of Madawaska, died peacefully Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born Nov. 2, 1929 in Wallagrass, a daughter of the late Frederick and Mamie (Boucher) Fournier. She graduated from St. Joseph College with a major in Social Sciences. She lived several years in Maryland and southern and northern California before returning to Maine to live with her brother, Walter E. Fournier. She enjoyed painting nature scenes and sharing her art with her sons. She is survived by: two sons, Michael Brailer of South Carolina and Christopher Brailer and his wife Joanna of Georgia; and five grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Hannah, Phoebe, Margot Brailer. Geneva is predeceased by her brother Walter Fournier. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
