Caswell --- George G. King Jr., 62, passed away on February 21, 2020, at a Caribou healthcare facility. He was born on April 18, 1957, son of the late George G. and Pearl (Labreck) King Sr. His family meant the world to him, his loyally and love deep and unwavering. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature. His special place was sitting at a lake, waiting for fish to nibble the fishing line while taking in the quiet and beauty surrounding him. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially dogs. George is survived by his four siblings, Patricia Planthaber of Pennsylvania, James King of Bangor, Freda King of Massachusetts, and Doug King of Caribou, along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by four siblings, Gilbert King Sr., Roger King Sr., Regina Labreck, and Russell King. A memorial service will be celebrated at 1pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Lajoie Funeral Home in Van Buren. In keeping with George's wishes there will be no calling hours.
