Grand Isle---Gerald "Gene" Beaulieu, 72, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2014 doing what he loved. He was born in Grand Isle on November 16, 1941, son of the late Abel and Madeleine (Levesque) Beaulieu. He is survived by his loving wife of forty nine years, Dorina (Cyr) Beaulieu of Grand Isle; one son, Lee Beaulieu and his fiancé Lauri Gregory of Grand Isle; one daughter, Gina Beaulieu of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Russell Beaulieu and his wife Anne of Grand Isle; one sister, Rachel Cyr and her husband Gerard of Madawaska. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother and two sisters. In keeping with Gene's wishes, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Spring interment will be held in the St. Gerard Cemetery.
