St. David --- Gerard Pelletier, 83, passed away on February 23, 2020 at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. He was born on March 4, 1936, son of the late Patrick and Mina (Dufour) Pelletier. Gerard will be remembered as a hard worker, spending his lifetime working on the family farm. He was witty and full of life. Gerard is survived by his three children, Lester Pelletier of St. David, Ronald Pelletier and his wife Kathleen of Madawaska, and Laurie Lavoie and her husband Mike of Madawaska; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 11 siblings, a special friend, Marie Reine Sirois; along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Leola (Beaulieu) Pelletier of 50 years; One sister, Anita Daigle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday February 28, 2020 at the St. Thomas Church in Madawaska. Family and friends may call from 9-9:45 at the church the morning of the service. Arrangements have been entrusted in Lajoie Funeral Home.
