Madawaska --- Germaine Lizotte, 92, passed away on November 30, 2019 at a Madawaska Health Care Facility. She was born on February 23, 1927, daughter of the late Antoine and Sophie (Bernier) Bosse. Germaine will be remembered for her love of knitting many different items for her family members and her competitiveness when it came to bingo. She is survived by her three sons, Jacques Lizotte and his wife Jocelyne of St. David, Yves Lizotte and his wife Sandra of Madawaska, and Guy Lizotte and his wife Tammy of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Jason Lizotte and his wife Stacy of Florida, Jamie Lizotte and his wife Meg of Madawaska, Christian Lizotte of Colorado, Ashley Lizotte of Madawaska, Stephan Stack of Brunswick, and Heather Bouley of Madawaska, eight great-grandchildren; four siblings; one daughter-in-law, Mae Ann Lizotte; along with many nieces and nephews. Germaine is predeceased by her beloved husband Ned Lizotte; one son Lucien Lizotte, and one granddaughter, Jaclyn Lizotte.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the St. Thomas Church in Madawaska. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Thursday, December 5, 2019 and from 9-9:45am the morning of the service.
