Brewer/Madawaska---Ghislain Deschaine, 57, passed away August 30, 2022, at a Bangor health care facility, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Fort Kent on February 27, 1965, son of Reginald and Anne (Fournier) Deschaine.  He was an amazing son, who loved his mom tremendously.  His weekly phone calls to his mom will be missed.  He is survived by his mother, Anne F. Deschaine of Madawaska; five siblings, Doris-Mai Caldwell of Texas, Lucien Deschaine of Portland, Lionel Deschaine and his wife Joyce o f Florida, Marcel Deschaine of Madawaska, Rejeanne Martin and her husband Roger of St. David; many nieces and nephews.  Ghislain was predeceased by his father, Reginald.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10am until time of service.  Interment will take place at the St. David Cemetery immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ghislain's memory may be made to your local food pantry or a charity of your choice.
